Subscribed but still on free

Subscribed but still on free

I just got a new phone over the weekend and downloaded spotify again. I logged in and it's saying to subscribe to premium. I'm thinking it doesn't recognize my new device, I just don't know how to fix it. I did all the steps... I was charged June 6th so I'm a bit frustrated I can't listen to what Ive paid for.

Do you get email receipts for your subscription purchases? In them, the Spotify username you're paying for is shown:

 

Username/ID:        xxxxxxx

Logout of the app, and be sure to use that username to login to your account. It's the one with the Premium features.

 
You can login with that username to the website to check the status of your subscription here:
