Same, just paid for an unlimited subscription but desktop Spotify still says I've run out of hours and need to upgrade, even though I downloaded it again after I got the upgrade. Ideas?

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂
Sometimes there can be a slight delay between upgrading and your account being recognised in the application. Can you verify your subscription status on your online overview says unlimited and try logging out and back into the client a few times?

Uninstalled and reinstalled again and it's working now 🙂 I think spotify needs to look at this though because I've seen countless others experiencing the same problem with no joy, fortunately mine has sorted itself fairly quickly but from the sounds of it that's pretty rare! X
I've had my spotify unlimited acount for over a year now. Never had any problems but since a week every time I want to log in to Spotify at my pc at home, it says: '10 hour limit reached, upgrade bla'.
The spotify menu even tells me I have an unlimited acount! I tried relogging over and over. It's not working. A couple of days ago it worked after I tried it again after 5 hours! 5 hours! I pay to listen to music whenever I want to and as much as I want to! What's going on here???
@mquake Don't worry, you simply have 2 accounts here. If you log out, then back in using your Facebook details, you'll see your Unlimited.
Thank you for the quick reply!
I think my problem is that both acounts use the same email and password. So, it's up to spotify to decide whether he accepts my facebook or other acount, is that possible? Can I merge the 2 acounts? (I thought this was already the case but apperantly not?)
Thanks again
I'm having a similar problem. I bought NUS premium last night and online it says my account is premium. When I log into spotify it still says I need to upgrade?
@mquake They have the same email addresses, yes. If you could contact the accounts team over here, they'll sort it out for you.
@sam1805 Contacting the accounts guys is best for you too. When you do, please include the Order ID from your receipt. If you don't have one, don't worry. We'll find that Premium.
Once you guys have emailed in, reply here with your case number. We can then chase it up.
Thanks again, I contacted support. My reference is: 01071404
