Suggested songs still playing after turning Autoplay off and having 15 songs in a playlist

As a free plan user who mainly uses iOS I have to deal with suggested songs, which annoy me. I have looked up how to get rid of suggested songs, as many sources say, turn off Autoplay, and I have. Suggested songs proceed to play, and the same sources tell you to have more than 15 songs in your playlist. I put 16 songs in my playlist. And after my songs being shuffled for a while, a random song I never heard still comes on, which annoys me. I have Autoplay off and more than 15 songs on my playlist, yet Spotify proceeds to keep suggesting songs. I have even reinstalled Spotify. I have also liked all the songs in said playlist, yet Spotify still suggests songs.
