Switching between devices

I recently upgraded to the family premium subscription. I added my sons phone to my plan and now we both can't listen to music at the same time, if I'm listening to music and he gets on the app, it switches the music from my device to his and vice versa... is there a fix to this? So that we could BOTH listen to the Spotify app at the same time??

Hi @Cvallie! Great news, the solution here is pretty easy. When you register for a Family Plan it's like subscribing in bulk. In this case, your account is the administrator, and then you can add on up to five additional accounts onto the plan. 

All you'll need to do is get your son their own Spotify account, and then add him to your plan. You'll both enjoy the benefits of premium, and you won't have to worry about him trying to listen at the same time as you. For information on how to do that you can check out this FAQ page.
