Unable to change display name on desktop app

My Question or Issue

I don't seem to have any ability to change the display name on my account or change any of my account information attached to my account on Spotify. I signed up years ago with Facebook, but now I'm not sure why it's not allowing me to edit or add new information to the account details page. I just subbed yesterday, so can someone help me figure out whats going on here?

You're able to add or change your display name on a mobile device and tablet. That may explain why you're unable to change it on the desktop app. There is some more information and the steps on how to do this here.

You mentioned that you're unable to change any account details, but you signed up to Spotify through Facebook. This means your Spotify account registered the personal details associated with your Facebook account, and it's not possible to change those with Spotify. 

To change your personal details, you need to switch to a new account. See 'I want to use Spotify without Facebook' for more information.
