Unable to upgrade to Premium with code from Base package

I have recently taken out a mobile contract with Base in Belgium. I registered through the Base site for spotify and my 4 digit code was sent by text. Logged onto Spotify though PC and upgraded account to Premium using code - "The Premium code you entered is invalid. Please check that you have typed it correctly"

There's a few things we can try here..

First up, double check the code. I know this is insanely simple but I've had this problem myself and it turned out to be inputted wrong!

Second, try redeeming the code in a different internet browser, this will rule out any browser issues as the cause.
