Unlink facebook from originally facebook created spotify account

Hi,

Is it possible to unlink my facebook (log in with just my email) from my spotify account.

I originally created the account with facebook to try spotify but wasn't really convinced (partially because it was a facebook only service). 
However recently discovered the ''value'' of spotify and want to become a premium member.

Now the problem is that every time I have to log in with my facebook, and therefore reactivates my account.

Also I don't like facebook login anyway since the only permanent online identity I use would be Google.

So I want to be able to login with just my email, however I can't create a new (just email login) account  because the gmail address is the same as I use for my facebook.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Daniel! Welcome to the community 🙂

If you get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form they will be able to assist you migrate your account over to a Spotify only login account. 

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.

I contacted support and after they delete my account I should be able to open a new one with the same email.
