Unsubscribed, immediately no premium anymore

Hello,

 

today Ayden Client took like every month 9,99 € from my bank account. In my account on spotify.com it was said - Abo renews on 18.01.17.

Anyway, today I chose to unsubscribe, but after I did that, my account was immediately a free account and now I have to listen to the commercials again.


So my question:

 

Will they refund the 9,99€ they took from my bank account today? Otherwise I want to use my Premium features, because I paid them up front (I think?!).

Hey, @Sam1337 thanks for posting in the Spotify Community. 

 

The possible reasons:

1. You didn't finish the cancellation process.

2. You have two (or more) accounts with a subscription, and only one was cancelled.

The first thing to do is check your email for a Confirmation Email. Each user receives one after cancelling their Spotify subscription. 

 

Possible sollutions: 

[ If you got a confirmation email ] > It sounds like you've got a second account with Spotify. Are there any other email addresses you could have used to register with Spotify? It's worth checking those inboxes to see if you have any Spotify emails--that will mean your extra account is registered with that email.  

If you don't have another email address, note how you log into the Spotify app usually. 

  • If you use your Facebook details try entering your Spotify username (if you created one originally).
  • If you use your Spotify username try entering just your email address. 

 [ If you don't see a confirmation email ] > It sounds like you didn't complete the cancellation process. Please give that another try via your subscription page. You'll then receive a confirmation email shortly after that.

Hey Martin, thanks for your answer!

 

I checked my mails and recieved one that says I unsubscribed and it will end to 2016-12-21.

 

Is it possible that my subscription ended immediately because Spotify didn't recieve the new monthly pay now? (As is mentioned it was charged today on my bank account).

 

So will they refund the last payment?

Please read the Refund policy, and if you think you are eligible for that, you can ask for a refund within 14 days of purchase.
