Unwanted songs not on my playlist playing

My Question or Issue

When I am choosing a playlist, it keeps jumping to a different song that I haven't heard of and isn't on any of my playlists. I have tried from two mobile devices and a laptop and the same problem keeps happening. I can click back on my playlist and a few seconds later it jumps to another song. It then plays different songs (all of an R&B genre!) which aren't in my library. Basically, I can't listen to what I want to. Any ideas why and how I can stop this happening?

Have you checked your not using the app as a Free account?

Try logging into your Spotify profile on your browser here with your email. Your username will be displayed after you login.

After that, check the status of your subscription. If everything looks ok, logout of the app in your device, and be sure to use that username, instead of your email address, to login to your account. It's the one with the Premium features.
