Upgraded to Premium - iPhone 4 still claims I am not Premium user - why?

So annoying - I can't stream unless I'm a Premium user. I'm premium on the dektop application but even after reinstalling Spotify on the iPhone 4S it still claims I'm not a Premium user.

Help anyone?

CptSamir - What's happened here is you've made a new account via your Facebook. That account was upgraded--not 'cptsamir'. 

We can help sort this out. Keep an eye on your inbox for me. 

moniwood- As you've got this working on your iPhone, please try a clean reinstallation on your desktop. 

Once that's done sign in with your Facebook email and password. Let us know if you're still getting adverts.

I am having a similar problem to others. I actually clicked on the 30 FREE TRIAL and put in my credit card number. 

My account still does not give me premium access. I've logged out and logged back in. I've even deleted the app off my computer and iphone. Still no change. Can you please help me? I like spotify but I don't want to pay for a service that's not working. 

I will be canceling soon if I can't resolve this.

I still cannot log into my Spotify premium on my phone. I am using Spotify details username and password and not Facebook and it is still not working. PLEASE HELP!!!

It looks like our servers were just being a bit slow in upgrading accounts to Premium yesterday. Everything should be working as normal now though. 

Please do a quick sign out/ sign in if you haven't already. If you're then still having problems please let us know.

It would be great if you could also include a screenshot of your desktop client. Just be sure to include the 'Spotify' bar along the top (which should of course say 'Spotify Premium').

I am also having this problem. My username is allison.house.89 and I have tried logging in and logging out several times on the iphone and it still doesn't recognize me as premium.

ally555 - It can take a few moments for the upgrade to come through. If you could log out and in once or twice more, you should see that Premium.

Just download the Spotify app from the app store. You need to subscribe to Spotify premium from the main Spotify website, in fact you can have the first month free if you go to www.spotify.com/freetrial !
