Upgraded to family premium and now can't open my account or access my music

Upgraded to family premium and now can't open my account or access my music

Two days ago I upgraded from Premium to Family and now the Spotify icon on my computer will not open my music account. It says link failed. My account is accessible on my Andriod phone though. Can anyone help?

Actually it says The Spotify application is not responding.

Hey @Morts63,

 

If you're using Windows, try a clean reinstall:

 

Log out of Spotify and then close the program.

Uninstall

 

Browse to the cache. The default location should be C:\Users\%Username%\AppData\Local\Spotify\Storage and delete everything inside the folder.

 

Delete the folder C:\Users\%Username%\AppData\Local\Spotify\Users\<random numbers-user>\ There is a folder for each profile that has been logged into Spotify on that computer account.

 

Reinstall.

 

Hopefully that'll fix it.
