Upgrading to Family Subscription

Upgrading to Family Subscription

Hi there

 

Myself and my wife currently have 2 separate Spotify accounts.

 

I want to upgrade to a family subscription for myself +2 members so that myself, my wife and my daughter can each have their own accounts for the same price as having 2 separate accounts.

 

If I do this will my wife be able to transfer all of her music that is currently held in her account to this new account?

Hello: Your wife should not have to transfer any playlists to anywhere. When you sign up for the family plan select the right number of people in the plan you intent to add, since it is three choose the option for three members. You will add your payment details, when the payment goes through, you should then get the tool added to you family plan account to send out the other two invite codes to your other family members, all they have to do is click on the invite codes and add their user accounts to the family plan setup under you.

 

Everyone still gets to keep their own accounts seperated and the ability to sign onto the service at the same time, this is just a discount for multiple accounts. There is no merging of accounts or any need to transfer playlists to other accounts, the accounts all stay intact, they just now all become permium access accounts and can all be online and playing music at the same time.
