Using Spotify Premium for 3 people

Using Spotify Premium for 3 people

Hey guys so i'm starting the Spotify free trial now and im really enjoying it.  I was under the impression that 3 devices can have up to 3,333 songs each to listen offline.

So I downloaded songs to my phone and then my mom wanted some songs for her phone(under the same account).

When i signed in on her phone I saw all the songs that i downloaded on my phone and when i deleted it off her phone, it then deleted it off of my phone also.

So how exaxtly does this work? Can me and my mom have different songs available for offline? or must they be the same?

Hi,

since you and your mom are using the same account, you will always have the same songs and playlists on your phone. If you create a playlist on your phone, your mom will have the same one on hers, because its the same account. However, you don't have to have the same songs / playlists offline.

To download a playlist, simply press 'download'. You will recognize downloaded playlists /songs by the little green arrow on the left side of it.

Your mom will now have the same playlist, but it is not downloaded until she decides to download it on to her phone as well.

I hope that helped 🙂
