I want to end Premium but can´t find where I do it on the webpage, Please help!

You should be able to cancel your subscription from your subscription page. If there's anything we can help with before cancelling, let us know!

The problem is - it says under Subscription that I have Spotify for freeversion. But that isn´t true. I tried the premium for one free month and now two months of payment has been withdrawn from my account. I want out of this - how can I do that when you have wrong information under my file? I want to be in contact with someone ASAP that can solve this problem. 

Hi @aseericson,

It sounds like you could possibly be logging in with a different account when you look into your account overview. This typically happens when you have signed up with a Facebook account and then again with an account using a username.

Just to clarify, have you tried logging in with different account details to verify whether or not you could possibly have two accounts?

My porblem is that you have incorrect information on Subscriptionpage. It says that I have a free version but money has been drawn two months now. It´s impossible to do anything on that page since you have the wrong information... I want a proper e-mail to reach a person that can help me now.

Your problem in terms of seeing incorrect information could be that you're logging into an account that doesn't have your payment information stored whereas a different account, which could have been created by you at some point in time, could. If a different account has your payment information, then you can continue to be charged for that other account.

In any case, you can get in contact with the payments team via this form...make sure you respond to the automated response to get in touch with a representative sooner.

Hi! Thanks for the answer. Slowly getting to understand 🙂 But where can I find if I have two different accounts and how to log on in to these two different?

Normally it happens when you have an account with a Spotify username (which you will have chosen when you registered), and an account via Facebook. Try logging in with both 😉

To my shock, I got an email this morning saying I had been charged 10 euros. I demand a refund. I cancelled my premium subscription about 2 weeks ago. Of course, when I entered today it was still active but I genuinely went through the steps of cancelling 2 weeks ago ,well before the end date of the free trial, if there was some hidden extra step that I didn't take then shame on you. I am usually reluctant to sign up for free trials because I hate getting caught out with sneaky stuff like this. Please do the right thing and refund me instantly. I have already cancelled for the second time, this time I hope it is validated, I noted this time that I needed to givemy facebook details to complete the cancellation yet I don't recall doing this last time, all I did last time was cancel and press submit and then it told me the date that the spotify premium account would expire. Please refund instantly as I'm sure you don't want to get a reputation for inadvertently cheating users out of money

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂

That isn't normally a problem, but you will need get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form and ask them since no billing or refund issues are ever dealt with here on the community due to the need to normally verify private account data. 

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.

Have wasted hours trying to find a place to end my trial subscription BEFORE I get charged .. many reasons, mostly because it doesn't work as promised .. cannot use on my IPAD at all ..  and it is not practical to have on my regular laptop which is not at all portable.  I had tried installing, reinstalling, and keep getting the message that it won't work in my region when trying to login on my IPAD ..

 

So I want this cancelled before July 21st .. and hopefully won't be billed for something I thought would work well but doesn't seem to work at all ...
