I have the same issue. There is a status message on the main Help page, but it's not much of a status update. Just that they are aware of the issue. I don't think they plan on doing anything about it though. It appears that it is up to us to resubscribe.

 

This is the response I received from support:

After taking a look in your account we verified that you paid for the Family Plan, but the subscription was cancelled. In this what we can do is to make a Refund to your account for the last payment and then you can resubscribe. If you'll like to continue with the process please confirm the following details:
Date of birth registered in the account.
Postal/Zip code.
Name of two playlists.
Once again we're really sorry about this inconvenience, but we're here to help you and find the best solution. Hope to hear from you soon.

I won't be holding my breath waiting for a refund. But at least I know they have no intention of fixing the problem and I can do so myself. Wish I knew that a week ago....

Note: I'm not a Spotify employee.

They have been aware for over a week. they do not however, appear to be working on a fix.
They informed me that I would need to resubscribe and they would refund my last payment. So I did. Yesterday I upgraded to Family again and was content. It was working again. Today however, it was back to the Free account.
I'm done with Spotify. Just waiting on my next refund.
