Will not let me log in? Says Im in a different country but I'm not.

Hi,

Spotify has been working fine on my phone for the past few weeks since I signed up.  Downloaded it to my computer today but it will not let me log in.  It says the country Im in doesnt match my profile.  Im in Australia and my profile says Im in Australia though so I cant seem to understand why it will not let me log in.

Hi.

Do you use VPN, in short location changer for ip adress, on your computer or your router? If yes try shutting it off.

Thanks for the suggestion but no I dont use a VPN,

Im using my iphone as a hotspot to connect to my laptop.
