Will the sync feature delete playlist songs from my phone if the publishing user deletes them?

I hope that question makes sense. This is in reference to playlists which other users have published, and which I am following and have downloaded. I have noticed that it downloads new songs when the playlist is updated with new songs, but will it also delete downloaded songs from my phone if the publisher of the playlist deletes those songs from the playlist?
