I read a few threads on something similiar recently where it was resolved by either using your full email address for the username or just the name part of your email. For example Bearfoorrecords@gmail.com might work as Bearfootrecords on the app.
Try that and let me know if it works, I've seen it work a handful of times but not 100% so I'd be interested in fixing this and get you back to listening to music!
