Let me start by saying I love this service!

However, I have a premium account and I would love to switch to the student premium account type but for the life of me I cannot figure out how to do this. I have gone to the "help" section and found the student discount page where it tells you how to do it, but everytime it takes me to the "account overview" page. So then I click on either "payment settings" or "manage subscription" and it tells me "you do not currently have a payment provider connected to your account" so I then click on "update details" and nothing happens. Literally nothing. it just refreshes the page.

I love spotify, but this is really starting to piss me off.

You might have subscribed to premium through the iPhone or iPad app. You will need to cancel this subscription first before you can sign up for the student discount.

To cancel your subscription, you need to cancel it from iTunes. Your subscription is being handled by Apple.

There is currently a glitch with the student discount page for some people, so if you still have trouble,

I suggest you contact support so they can help you

If you get an automated reply email telling you to check the help section or the community, you need to reply back to it.

Support usually replies within 24-48 hours.
