email blocked

HI,

I cannot login with my email address. At first instance this was because I had attached it with Facebook, so as suggested I reactivated facebook and tried to login again. So first I receive an error that I do not have a facebook login, yet when I try to create a new account or have a password resent, the error comes up that I have an account with this email via facebook login and I should go via the facebook login route. I am going postal on the stupidity of this arrangement, CAN ANYONE HELP.

In addition... in order to post this post I had to create a new email account, AS I HAD TO BE LOGGED IN TO POST A TOPIC... please let there be anyone that can appreciate the STUPIDITY of this....
