Hey everyone! @eeleimaj @repostera_inter @matohoza
Can you guys try uninstalling Spotify then re-installing using the following links:
Windows: http://download.spotify.com/Spotify.exe?
Mac: http://download.spotify.com/Spotify.dmg?
Let me know how it goes!
Hey,
thanks for the effort, but it still does not work. There is however a more detailed message saying error 117 - something like maybe i am behind a firewal. Yes, i am behind a HTTP proxy, but 1: I was hoping, that the Auto detect option will handle this and 2: I don't see a HTTP Proxy option to enter the information manually.
but we're almost there! 🙂

@matohoza Are you using Windows or OS X? Also make sure that your firewall/anti-virus or proxy isn't blocking Spotify. Lastly, can you provide a screenshot of the settings page on the Spotify application so I can take a closer look?
A few collegues of mine sitting next to me are using spotify - they say, they had a few problems at the beginning, but then it somehow started to work (they keep saying, that for the first time they had to log in to spotify from home (no proxy) and then it started to work in the company network behind the proxy too). I am on Windows 7, collegues on both windows 7 and windows 10.
I get message "error code 2" or "error code 7" when access using ubuntu 14.04. Some time ago it was working...
In the some network using android it's still working.
Those messages are ridiculous. Don't saw nothing.
2 day after run normaly.
today do not access internet, again.
Same problem with Ubuntu 15.10
This is my problem too. I can't do login 2 days ago, error code 2, error code 117, error code forever, but i don't know what the problem 😕
I had the same on my macbook but it works now after I closed (deactivated) WIFI and activated WIFI again, juhuuu! Hope this helps you too.
We are seeing "No internet connection detected. Spotify will automatically try to reconnect when it detects an internet connection (error code:4)" when attempting to access the Spotify service from a web browser. We are required to use "Use automatic configuration script" otherwise our clients would not use our PAC file. Does Spotify indeed to resolve this issue? I have notice multiple threads on this subject with resolution of using a standalone Spotify client. We do not want to maintain deploying and updating a music client for our user community. We are supporting to many paid license programs thus we are not able to increase our list of programs now. If you want our users to be enticed to pay $10 a month for your service, then you need to update the browser to support "Use automatic configuration script".
Affected Operating Systems:Windows 7 & 10, Mac OS X
Additional Information: There is an issue with the Spotify web client. If I manually configure the Proxy setting without using "Use automatic configuration script" then I am able to stream music. However, we are not allowed to use this proxy setting on our production machines. I am not located any Spotify help desk number or email address to send this informatoin to. Where can I find this information?
Over 2,000 users are not able to use Spotify. The latest client no longer supports HTTPS for Proxy connection.
"No internet connection detected. Spotify will automatically try to reconnect when it detects and internet connection (error code:4)."
Hmmm, I have an Internet connection as I just made this post.
In addition, Edge and IE are not able to play Spotify web player.
