how to make spotify not load up automatically on computer

The thing I like the least about this program is that it starts up automatically when I start up my computer. I've hardly used the program yet (I may start using it some) and so for me so far this has just been another program wasting space on my pc. I may consider deleting it. Does anyone know how to change the program start-up settings?

You can change this in the Preferences menu of Spotify. Click on Edit > Preferences (Or Spotify > Preferences on a Mac), scroll down to "Open Spotify automatically after you log into the computer" tab.
