I just was curious as to what music I can upload to Spotify. If I had a website called http://www.legalmusic.org

I own the copyright for the music there. Or if I have a website called http://www.homeattendant.net

I own the music posted there so I can post the spotify website there so my music can be played on

Spotify. Spotify pays me everytime the music gets streamed. This is great for artists.

Every artist should make sure there music gets uploaded to Spotify.

I think that Spotify is legal. But what about songs that I don't own the copyright for. I know that I own the copyright for http://www.legalmusic.org

I have my own song I copyrighted there

But what if someone else wrote a song and I have that song in my music library. What if my music library is accessed and someoneelse

has that songs copyright? Can only my song can be uploaded by me to Soptify or must I own the copyright to upload the music to spotify through my music library?

I'd say only the artist could upload their own songs. You'd probably have to provide some form of ID/who you are in relation to the song that you are trying to upload.
