log in from another country

I was using Spotify quiet a long time in Sweden while I was living there for one year. From today Spotify is available in Germany, where I am living, but I cannot log in because Spotfiy tells me that my temporary country doesn't fit with the country in my profile. Furthermore it tells me I should change my country in my profile settings. 

But I cannot change the country in my profile. I can change my birth date, even my gender. What should I do???

I have the same problem....one year ago I was for 3 months in England and now i'm back in my Homecountry

germany.So I thought that today I can log in and listen spotify again.But if I want to change the country I have to pay

for the Premium Spotify and I don't want to do that because everybody in Germany can hear music for free now.

Who can help and konw what i can do now to hear Spotify for free???

i have exactly the same problem.

it says it's only possible to change the country when i change my  paying details and then i would have to enter a paypal account or my credit card number which i don't want to because i want to use the free version.

could you send me an email too?

Hey guys, I suspect there may be a few similar cases to this so I'll explain the easiest way to get this sorted.

Just go to https://www.spotify.com/account/profile/ and change the Country there. You'll need to put in your payment details to do so, but you won't get charged at this point for a subscription.

If that doesn't work for any reason, just get in touch with us via our Contact Form. This can be found through About Us at the top of this page - we'll get back to you just as soon as we're able.

Cic3r0- I can see that your account is now registered in Germany now that you have some payment details stored.

Hey guys same problem but I don't have a Spotify account, I used to log in France with my Facebook account. The now that I'm in the U.S is just imposible to connect. Any suggestions? Thanks

You should be able to change your country from your online profile. Just log in using your Facebook details and update your country. 

If you have any issues, get in touch with the team directly using the online contact form and they will be able to assist you directly.

Hello, i am Portuguese, was living in Portugal before but now i am living in Germany and i cannot loggin in spotify anymore...

I went to the profile and on payment details i switched to germany and it does not accept my payment maybe because its from a portuguese account !!??

Your payment must come from the country your account shows. To switch to Germany, you need to add german card details or you can stay with a potuguese account and listen in Germany (or anywhere else) with a premium account.

But i have not an german account, only have portuguese accounts for the moment. Is there any other way????

With a spotify unlimited or premium account, you can carry on using Spotify in Germany without changing your country. So just leave your portuguese payment card and country as Portugal and enjoy the music.

Hey there! I am a spotify premium customer in Germany AND my account is signed in as stationed in Germany. However I cannot login due to the facts that it is being prevented by me "loging in from a different country". I have disconnected all but one offline devices and deleted/reinstalled facebook/spotify... any tips? 🙂 thanks for the help

I was in the UK a while back but now I'm in Ireland. Spotify won't let me log in at all, saying that I'm not allowed log in from a different country. I can't get into my profile at all! Please help!!
