My Question or Issue

I forgot the password to this Account:

Lost Account

So I tried resetting it here: https://accounts.spotify.com/en/password-reset .

Now the problem I have is, that I'm not getting an E-Mail. It's not in the Junk folder, I don't block E-Mails from Spotify, I'm just not getting the E-Mail.

 

Another thing I should mention is that I can't find this "lost" account via my friends following tab any more, as if the account got deleted.

Thank you for reaching out here in the Community!

 

Sometimes, when you try too many times, the system need some time to process the requests for forgotten password. With that being said, it's best to wait a little and then try again. If possible - use a different device.

 

We'd also recommend to try using an incognito window or a different browser to avoid any issues caused by the saved cache or cookies.


If the issue persists, it might be a good idea to reach out to our Customer Support team through one of the channels here. They should be able to check what's going on and help you out further.

Unfortunately I'm having this problem since about a month, so I tried it a couple of times over the past month with multiple devices and also in private windows. No luck though.
Hopefully the Customer Support team can help me.
