paying for two different subscriptions on one account

paying for two different subscriptions on one account

I paid my bill with a master card gift card (not sure if that makes a difference). I tried to upgrade to Student from free. The money was taken off of the card but my Spotify was still on the free subscription for hours after the charge was posted on the gift card. So i figured something went wrong and paid again, but this time just the regular premium. I was just wondering if i was going to be charged for both or if I could be refunded either one of the amounts? I know it would most likely be Studen subscription that I am refunded for and that's fine. I just don't want to be charged for two upgrades when the first one didn't even work.

Hey @cuhry,

Did you get an email receipt for your subscription purchases?

In it, it shows the Spotify username you paid for:

Username/ID: xxxxxxx

Logout of the app, and be sure to use it, instead of your email address, to login to your account. It's the one with the Premium features.

If you didn't get any email receipt, sometimes the amount gets 'on hold' even if the charge doesn't go through. Normally the amount gets back to your bank account a day or two later.
