It looks like there is an issue for some people redeeming their prepaid Spotify cards.
We're looking into this and hope to have it resolved soon.

i'm unable to redeem a gift card for getting downloads, tried filing out a contact form n got a reply saying to check faq and forums for a solution, tried getting in touch with them again and the same thing happened, getting a bit fed up of getting sent in circles instead of getting help for the issue!

Send the same message as you sent using the contact form. It will be sent directly to a spotify agent who will be able to assist you.

So what exactly is 'personal support' gonna do or me? Are you saying that ALL the people who's giftcards aren't working need personal support? Don't keep people busy with this personal support stuff spotify. I paid 30 euro's for the premium subscription for my girlfriend, and yet it's not working. I believe paying half a day's work is already enough for it to work, let alone contact you and sit by my computer in order for her to have some music the way it's supposed to work.
Get this issue fixed and stop telling people to contact you for support that isnt gonna solve the problem, because let me ask you this:
Is contacting through a contact form and replying to the no-reply adress gonna get someone to manually activate my giftcard? YES or NO?
If not, then stop asking for people to contact you, and just fix this. As i've been keeping an eye on the matter, I have noticed that this problem has been ongoing since WEDNESDAY. Don't you think that's a tad too long for a music service like yours for it not to be fixed by now, 3 days later?

If you include your premium code in the contact form or email reply then the staff might be able to active it manually for you.
As I'm sure you can appreciate, IT failures do happen in the real world, and sometimes there is no quick fix, especially when its such a large scale operation like spotify with customers all over the world!
Also, I understand that you are annoyed, I'm sure there are a lot of other people out there too that are being affected by this issue, but there is no need for any profanities on a community forum 😉

Have you tried contact the payments team directly using the online contact form?
If you recieve an automated reply, reply to that with your original message and someone will email you back! (Not sure if the team work weekends or not though!). Remember to include your account information and premium code as they might be able to credit your account manually for you.
