i'm no longer certain of the username, password or postcode of the address i was in when i signed up - i've moved around several times since, and my stated user name is an approximation. i've requested reset passwords and spotify support but nothing has arrived in either of my two email accounts, neither of which according tto Spotify are associated with an active spotify account. It was been working fine up till a couple of months ago when i inadvertently logged myself out, and have been struggling to get through to Spotify ever since. I don't have a facebook page and would prefer to keep it that way. i've had to send this through my girlfriends account as requests to your spotify support have either bounced back, or been an automated referral to the spotify community, which i cant seem to access without password access. which is what i'm after in the first place.
please help

Hey 🙂
You will need to get in touch with the customer services team. You can use the online contact form to do this, the link I have placed here doesn't require you to log in 😉
If you get an automated email reply telling you to visit the community, just reply directly to that email (even if it says not to) and your message will be pushed into the customer services queue. Response times are normally less than 48 hours.

Hi - if you get the automated reply to the community, just send a reply to the email address and it will push it through to a member of staff.
This may seem strange, but it is true!

thanks liam and hammeh - as you say a strange system
i can now log into my account but cant find the music library or anyway to play music. its all adverts and guidebooks. do i have to download the whole thing all over again>?
Do you have the Spotify client installed on your computer? It should be an icon on your desktop or an entry in the start menu.
If not, no worries you can download it again from here.

wow this is confusing. i'm currently using my girlfriends computer, and with her permission, her spotify community access. at risk of cross posting (i'm new to this),responses seem to be flitting between both her and my accounts.
her spotify works fine from the desktop icon. my login doesnt seem to work, citing a firewall issue. however it must have worked once seeing as i got in to register with the spotify community, logging in and out of which represents no difficulty.
presumably repeating the download will make no difference, and i can't see how a firewall can forbid different users of the same program. i just want free music!
since you replied initially via juliaface's thread, i will post this there as well, unless it is considered poor form
thanks
mark
hi peter
it seems to have sorted itself out for no good reason but thanks for trying. if i work out how, i'll kudos you. it seems quite hard to navigate to the posts you've made, or back to the appropriate thread. and i'm disconcerted to see public email information displayed. perhaps thats a private window? i fear i'll struggle to get back there to check
i dont deel i learnt much but thanks a lot for helping to get the problem sorted.
