spotify notification settings

spotify notification settings

hello,

I have a premium account and I'm following some playlists. Everytime someone has added tracks to one of those playlists I get an email notification. I assume I should be able to turn this off by going to the "notification settings" of my account. However, even though I see the options 'cancel' and 'save', there is nothing else to click on (I think there should be a list here with different options). Am i missing something? How can i change the notifications I'm getting?

Also, I used to be able to see which tracks were recently added in the playlist because of the blue dots in front of the tracks I had not played yet. I don't see those anymore. Is there a way to turn that function back on?

Hope someone knows. Thanks.

The blue dots in playlists will be coming back in a future update.

Can you post of screenshot of what the notification settings page looks like? That would help

Also try to go to the notification settings page in a different browser to see if that's any better.

Here is a screenshot. It looks like this no matter what browser I use.

Hey @RobynP

This bug with the notification settings has been reported.

I don't know how soon it will be fixed though.

In the meantime,

I suggest you contact support so they can help you disable the emails from their end

https://www.spotify.com/about-us/contact/contact-spotify-support/

If you get an automated reply email telling you to check the help section or the community, you need to reply back to it, even if it's from a no-reply address.

Support usually replies within 24-48 hours.

Great. Thank you for your help!

I'll try that. (and will wait patiently for the bugs to get fixed).
