spotify username

is it possible to get a normal username instead of random numbers and words? i used to have a normal one but every time I make a new acc, they always give no chance for me to get the username I want, instead, they give a random numbers and words.

Hey @cokecaine, thanks for reaching out to the Community about this.

Your username is designed to identify you on Spotify, so it can’t change. You can add or change a display name which replaces the username where it shows on your profile, and Friend Activity, etc. There is some more information and steps on how to do this here.

no I mean the first time you make spotify, can you make your own username? cause its used too able to make your own spotify username the first time you create your spotify account

Thanks for getting back to me. 

At the moment, you're unable to select or change your username at signup either since it's automatically generated. Although, you can add or change your display name following the steps provided in my last reply.
