unable to login to mobile app

unable to login to mobile app

Hi,
I'm trying to login to the mobile app on a new device using my email but it says
'You do not have a Spotify account connected to your Facebook account. If you have a Spotify account please log in with your Spotify credentials. If you do not have a Spotify account, please sign up'
Although I am able to login to a web application, I cannot bind my account to Facebook, since it says 'Sorry there has been a temporary error, please try again later'
Please help
Thanks

Hey there!

Sorry to hear you've been having issues logging in.

Have you tried re-installing the app on your phone? You can find an article here on how to best do that.

Otherwise, what device and OS version are you running? Let's get this sorted 🙂

Hello James , thanks for your reply
No I haven't, it was a first time I tried to login after installing the
app, but of course i can try to re install it.
It's Nexus 6 (android 7)
Thanks,
Tim

Hey again!

Sorry for the delay in my reply, I hope you've been able to get back rocking in the meantime.

If you haven't, have you tried using a different device? Are you able to log in on desktop / using the web browser?

Hi James,
I tried to login with different device and got the same error message.
Although web version works ok for me.
Thanks,
Tim

Hi Tim,

That certainly does sound weird. But it's good that you're able to use the web version.

If you want to unbind your Facebook account, probably best to reach out to support either here, or if you're feeling more social you can do that over Twitter here.

Cheers,

 - James
