why do you release remix versions of tracks before or without the original?

Hi,

I'v had spotify for a number of years and starting to get really annoyed with the fact that spotify seems to take ages or dosn't put on the latest dance tracks, both remixes and originals. Or they put the remixes on but no originals, have you thought that some people might prefer the original to the remix? also is there any chance you could look into this. For example I really like the original Russ chimes- turn me out track. You have a remix of it but no original, and in my opinion the remix is rubbish.

Hi, and welcome to the community!

Please note that for Spotify to have music on their servers; they require the permissions from the record label. If the record label devide to only give Spotify the remix, then obviously Spotify can only make the remix available. Spotify make everything they have available to us, so hopefully it will appear soon!
