Album songs won't play in order

There are a few songs by Arcade Fire that must be played in order. I have them in order on my playlist, but they always play part 2 first. Those songs are The Lightning 1 and The Lightning 2. How can I get them to play in order

Thanks for joining the thread!
Ordering the tracks as you described and playing your playlist in order should resolve this.
There is also this Idea about linking songs together, if you feel like it, you may leave your Like there as well 🙂

It has been so long that I can't remember how I resolved this issue, but it
is resolved. The auto-shuffle is disabled.
Searching and playing an album plays all tracks in the order they appear on
the original album (selecting track 1)without manually setting up specific
playlists or any other roundabout set up etc.
I can't find this setting on the app, so it may require going to your
account settings via an internet browser.
Wish I could be more helpful, but it is in fact no longer an issue for me.

I have the paid for version of Spotify and still cannot get the album to play in order even if I push on the first song.

Could you confirm that Shuffle is disabled? You can find out more info on how to toggle it off here.

In any case, a short screen recording which shows the app's behavior in action would be greatly appreciated as we can get a direct look at what's happening on your end. Feel free to also share the following:

• Your device's make, model and OS version.
• The version of Spotify you're running, found in the app's Settings (mobile) or the three dots menu in the top left corner > Help > About Spotify (desktop).
• All the troubleshooting you've tried so far so we avoid repeating the steps.

I sort my playlist by artist but it jump from words starts with O to words starts with t then words starts with P
