Andriod app won't download playlists

Stranglely the new app is having some serious trouble downloading music to my phone.  If I search for an artist, and download an album from the initial results page (the page that contains artists of that name then a section with a few albums) it seems to work ok.  However, if I search and then select an artist, to bring up their detailed page (biography, discography ect.) and try to download from there nothing gets added to my playlists. 

Is this just me or anyone else experiencing this odd issue?  I am using a HTC One X.

try going into your cell settings to manage app than go to spotify, clear data than uninstall....than after that reinstall..

deleted and reinstalled, still not working!!!

Can you detail the steps you are taking please so I can try to work out what isn't working for you. Do you see any error messages? What android and spotify versions are you running and please confirm whether you have a premium subscription.
