Android 4.4 KitKat low-power audio playback support?

just got my nexus 5.

i'm really eager for all battery improvments and KitKat has introduced low-power audio playback, by getting the DSP to do the work: http://www.android.com/versions/kit-kat-4-4/

will spotify support that? i really hope it comes fast, i applied for the beta, with the hope to get it faster that way.

i enjoy spotify premium and hope you guys have finally started to support android properly, not like in the past, where updates took months.

i exclusively listen to music in spotify.

Really bummed the album art doesn't show on my new Nexus 5,especially as my Spotify premium membership was free from Vodafone 😞

Battery life is a total killer, it would be great if this could be optimised, I'd love my Nexus 5 to be able to last a day with Spotify offline use so I can give my iPod a break.

I would love to see this feature in Spotify. Battery drain is pretty bad on my Nexus 5.
