Android Auto Missing Albums

Spotify app and Android Auto are not in sync with my albums in my library. Has been an issue for years ever since I first started using it.

Attached are two photos for reference, you cam see how the Android Auto screenshot has way less albums than should be present.

Is there a reason why it chooses specific albums to not show up? Also how come I can force them to show up after unfavoriting and re-favoriting those albums? Thank you for your help.

Spotify app in Google Auto is not showing the full list of albums. When searching by artist in iOS / MacOS / Windows app - artists albums can be found, but it is reduced in Google Auto app.

Still an issue more than two years after it was reported here. Any progress towards fixing it? 

 I also find the explanation lacking. How do the different functionalities affect the contents of the library?
