[Android] Does Spotify track listened songs offline?

My Question or Issue

Hi guys,

I was wondering if Spotify keeps tracks of listened to songs and artists when offline? My gym doesn't have coverage so I'm forced to listen offline which makes me wonder if any listening activity is being tracked towards features like Most Listened To artists and songs, as well as the yearly Spotify Wrapped each December?
