Android EVO shuffle doesn't play all songs or just repeats

Why does my mobile Spotify on my EVO NEVER play all of the songs when I turn on shuffle?  I do have premium:)

Under the artist tab that comes up, when i toggle shuffle on my mobile Spotify either:

1) ends playlist (which makes you have to press play again) as if all songs have been played before all had been played

2) begins to repeat songs that have played just a few songs ago, again without having played all on the list

It is very annoying for me who makes playlists and uses shuffle and has the controls (phone) plugged in the whole other side of the house.

Please help
