Can you not play your 'scrobbled' songs offline?

So i just am trying the free premium trial right now to see if i want to purchase this later. The commercials made it seem like i can listen to songs offline no matter what, but my phone will not let me play the songs that I don't already own. Is this a bug? or is it just what spotify does, please let me know fast because it doesn't really seem fair, if I would pay for this i would probably have to pay for extra internet service on my phone, please let me know, thank you.

Hey shiggles3692, welcome to the Community.

Playing music offline, on your computer or a mobile device, is one of the key features of Premium. So you should definitely be able to play songs from Spotify offline on your phone. Are you getting an error message that you can't?

yes, on my cellphone the ones i do not own are in gray colors. When i play them it tells me that "you can not play this track online" but i just realized that my tracks on my spotify have not finished syncing and i assume this is why i do not have them on my phone. Sorry for the trouble and thanks for the reply!

Yes, they might just take a few minutes if you're syncing a few. A green arrow will appear next to the playlist when they're all done.

Let us know if you have any further questions. I hope you enjoy the Premium trial.
