Android alarm not syncing to going off with Spotify properly.

Android phone alarm is not syncing with Spotify properly. So when the alarm goes off, it default to the phone alarm 1st and then the music start after. Wen you turn the phone alarm off the music still keeps on going and you can't turn it off without unlocking. And then when you go to the alarm it says there wasn't air it was unable to connect with spotify correctly.

This sounds like an Ongoing Issue affecting many Spotify users. Could you please read this post and confirm if your problem is the same?
