My Question or Issue
Hi, when i try to login on the spotify app on my tablet it says "you are currently offline, go online to connect to spotify". Every other internet needing app works just fine. I could even login to spotify through the browser app. I have tried to reinstall and clear cache of spotify several times and changed to different wifis but nothing works, i get se same message everytime.
Hey there @llve,
Thank you for your post here in the Community. We're happy to help.
You mentioned that you reinstalled the app. Can you confirm if you followed these exact steps?
Another useful step to do is to perform a soft reset of the device.
If that doesn't do the trick, can you let us know which version of the app you have?
We'll keep an eye out for your reply.
Take care!
Yes i followed the steps for reinstalling. I reset my device to factory settings and still didn't work. Spotify version 8.6.4.971

Thanks for getting back in touch and for letting us know that.
We suggest that you make sure the OS of your device is up-to-date.
Additionally, could you confirm that your phone's battery saving options are disabled?
We'll be on the lookout for your response.
Hey there @llve,
Thank you for your reply and confirmation.

If you have an SD card we suggest that you uninstall the app > turn off your phone > take out your SD card > turn on the phone again (without the SD card) > reinstall the app since the card can be corrupted.
Let us know how everything goes so that we can continue to assist you if you need us to. We're always one reply away 🙂
Take care!
