Any progress on the Spotify Offline Mode for Samsung Gear?

Has any progress been made towards supporting the offline mode for Samsung Gear S3 as mentioned in this article http://www.androidauthority.com/samsung-new-app-partnerships-gear-s3-758250/ slated for April? I haven't heard or seen anything about it and my smartwatch sort of sits uselessly at home while I run until this feature is available...
