App disconnects to any wifi speaker

My Question or Issue

For quite a while now listening on my sonos speakers the widget in the notification slider which (to pause/play forward/rewind) disconnects after being off the Spotify app for around a minute. The music keeps playing just i can't control the music from the widget or lockscreen.

So I have to go back on the Spotify app in order to regain control , I have tested this on my amazon firestorm by connecting to it and using my TV as a speaker and it does the same thing, so this narrows it down to the Spotify app or my device settings. I've tried turning off all options that puts Spotify to sleep when not in use, I've also reset my phone... 

edit: Just used an iPhone tested the exact same thing and it still works, so clearly its an android problem.

Hello 9wr, welcome to the Spotify Community!

This is a known bug, which the developers of the app will take a look at within the next month.
As for now, I'd suggest you to just go back to the app in order to control your Sonos speakers again.

UPDATE: Just updated app today seems to have patched the issue thanks!
