App pauses every song after it plays and doesn't move to the next song

My Question or Issue

I've had this issue for at least 2 weeks. I have barely used the app because of this. Basically once a song plays, instead of going to the next song in a playlist/album, it just stops playing anything. It also shows the pause button, meaning its playing music but it isn't. To fix this I either have to press play/pause a bunch of times or exist the app and tap play, which is extremely frustrating, especially while driving.  

Anyone know how to fix this?
