Automatically logged onto an account not belonging to me.

My Question or Issue

Downloaded and opened Spotify on my newly acquired phone. To my surprise I didn't need to log in, but was already logged in on an account which had a premium plan and serveral playlists. I haven't tried to recreate the issue, but if it's easy to recreate, it could pose a potential threat.

Thanks for reaching out and sorry for the late reply here.

To me it sounds most probable that you accidentally created a new account or you had some saved info with your Samsung phone which logged you in.

We usually have a 7 day free trial with newly created accounts so they don't have any ads.

Can you check if you recognize the email and username of the account you were logged in to? You can see that by going to the profile picture om the home page (top left corner) and then click on the cogwheel.
