Blank Screen When Accessing Songs

So basically I turn my phone(galaxy s7 edge) on, open spotify, and navigate to the songs tab, and it shows up completely empty. If i try to navigate back to the your music section, it also shows up blank. So I need to close and restart the app sometimes up to 3 times before I can actually view or play any of my music. I don't know what causes the problem, but it gets pretty annoying sometimes!
