(iPhone 8, Samsung Galaxy 9, Macbook Pro late 2016)

(iOS 10, Android Oreo, Windows 10,etc.)

 

My Question or Issue - When I launch the app, it shows a blank home screen. I'm able to use other sections of the app and play songs, however the home screen is blank. 

 

I have tried stuff like clean reinstall, log out and then log in etc.

Can anyone please help?

I have this problem today. Spent all day reinstalling, rebooting, updating. Nothing fixes it. Please sort this!

Me too!!  Happened overnight. No iOs update. None of the suggestions in various threads works. Please...

Thanks for reaching out!

 

Let's try the following:

  • Go to your device's Settings and clear the data there: Settings>Apps>Spotify>Storage>Clear data. 
  • Restart device then.
  • Log in and out to shake things up a bit.

Let us know if that helped. If not, share with us your Spotify version.

Thanks for responding, although if I were still experiencing this problem I would have certainly cancelled my account by now! The problem must have been resolved on your end; the home screen reappeared a day or two after I posted this. Thanks anyway! Now... what about the “podcasts can no longer be put in a queue” issue I posted many months ago?

SAME PROBLEM BUT CAN'T MAKE NEW LISTS OR EVEN SEE LISTS TO PLAY. CAN HIT PLAY LIST BUT NO CHOICES.  SCREEN BLANK EXCEPT FOR 3 DOTS IN UPPER LEFT CORNER.

 

THAT WAS 2019 THIS IS 2021

Can you let us know what troubleshooting steps you've done so far so we can avoid repeating them? I'd be also helpful if you send us the following:

  1. Make, model of your device
  2. Version of your operating system
  3. Version of the Spotify-app
