Bluetooth headphonee in use no longer shown in Android app v. 8.9.6.458

Since updating to v. 8.9.6.458 bluetooth device in use (BT headphones, BT speaker) no longer shown. Only "local device - this phone" is shown. No issues with the playback on the bt device.

Thanks for posting this thread!

If you haven't already, could you go to Settings and privacy > Devices > Show local devices only then click on the Devices menu and check if the headphones and speaker would appear there?

On another note, you can also check out Spotify Connect and try playback this way.

Hi,

I've already contacted @SpotifyCares with DM on X (ex-Twitter) and provided all the details, including screenshots. We went through several troubleshooting steps, including clearing cache/data as well as de-installing and re-installing the app and trying with another Spotify account. Finally @SpotifyCares acknowledged they'll pass these details to the developers.
