Bluetooth speaker crackling sound

I have a Samsung S21 FE and bluetooth speakers UE Boom 3. Everything works perfect on any other app like YouTube. But as soon as I use the latest Spotify version 8.7.22.1125 I get getting crackling sounds every few seconds when playing a song. When using a downgraded version (8.5.3.716) I am not having this issue.
When using my Jabra bluetooth earbuds I am not having this issue on any version.

Could you try performing a clean reinstall as described here and let us know how it went?

Also make sure to set Spotify as an exception in your phone's device care settings. Here is more on that.

Have you noticed this crackling noise if you use another phone to connect to the affected speaker?
