Can't add songs from radio to a playlist

I can't add a song from the radio to one of my playlists since the latest android app update. It is grayed out. I have the galaxy S2 and use this app quite frequently.

This is strange. Have you tried completely force stopping the app via System Settings and re-opening it. If that doesn't work, then try reinstalling it.

I cannot gurantee that this will work however, so you may not want to if you have offline lists. I will however ask the community team about this.

I have force stopped, re installed, cleared data, none of which have worked.

i have a Motorola Atrix2 and Spotify Unlimited ($5 / month)

if i search for and browse music, tracks are also grayed out, but i am able to long press them to Share, Add To, etc...

I have this same issue since the update earlier this month. This was not an issue before this months update.

I can't even long press. I have to favorite every song and sort it out when I get to a computer, which isn't too bad but I'd like to actually keep my favorites,well my favorites.

 Spotify tech support pleeeease?? Anyone?? Ever since I listend to your "radio" a different list comes up on my sreen when I look for bands to add to my curent playlists. It will NOT let me add to my list when I click on a bands song from this "new" formated list that popped up after listing to the radio. This is extremely frustrating!!! I spent a couple months now with over 1200 songs I downloaded from you guys making these lists! PLEASE someone help me over at Spotify. Thank You!

Hey, I don't know if this will help any of you guys, but it helped me. While on my Computer I had the same problem of listening to songs on the radio then not being able to drag them over to add to my playlists. The solution I found was to select the ones I wanted to add, right click, click add to, then click on the playlist you want it to be added to. Hopefully that helps. Good luck Everyone!

last month I cancelled my Spotify Unlimited account, I wasn't using it as much lately.

I still use Spotify free(with ads) both on my Computer and Mobile (Samsung Galaxy S2)

When the month was up and my service was switched to FREE, my spotify app automatically started the Spotify Premium 24 or 48 hour trial.

Suddenly the grayed out menu worked! But it wasn't working for months when I had Spotify Unlimited.

Now I could add the song that was being play on the radio to my playlists.

It seems if you want that feature, you need to have Spotify Premium, and NOT Spotify Free or Unlimited.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I have 4 different Android devices(ICS and Jelly Bean), and that option didn't work on none of them, until the trial of Spotify Premium took effect.
